"Ausblick" - October thru December 2010
Influenced by Solothurn’s baroque architecture, Tramaine de Senna will work on a series of “Caulk Frosting Paintings” during her stay. Her ornate, decorative works, are both paintings and sculptures made from silicone caulk. They reflect the decorate influence of baroque aesthetics. It also becomes apparent that simple materials such as gypsum or even silicon can be transformed into beauty when handled in a delicate manner.
